The FREDERICK BACKYARD BEEKEEPERS ASSOCIATION (FBBA) was established in 2017 to encourage the development of programs for all levels of Apiculture experience. FREDERICK BACKYARD BEEKEEPERS ASSOCIATION is an affiliated member of the Maryland State Beekeepers Association. Programs are offered throughout the year by experienced and professional beekeepers. Summer classes are taught at the home apiaries of the members. Classes meet at the Woodvale Farm in Frederick MD on the second Monday of each month, 9602 Bartgis Rd Frederick MD 21702 Yellow Springs Road in Frederick. Call for more information.

FBBA offers classes in honey production, pollination, equipment, queen rearing, overwintering nucs, mite inspection, etc.

Field events and classes are taught on a year round basis.
